Al Pacino as Meyer Offerman, a Polish-Jewish philanthropist and Holocaust survivor who recruits and leads the Hunters.Lerman joined the project due to the involvements of Jordan Peele, Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, David Weil, and Nikki Toscano, and the series' moral dilemma of being bad to fight evil. Logan Lerman as Jonah Heidelbaum, a young mathematics genius who takes his grandmother's place among the Hunters. government operation relocating German scientists (many of them Nazis) to the U.S.Ĭast and characters Main A parallel plot element is the discovery of Operation Paperclip, the U.S. It follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City who discover that numerous escaped Nazi officers are conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the United States. This feels like the classic gritty detective novels which I really dig.Hunters is an American conspiracy drama television series created by David Weil. I'm a fan of psychological thrillers and although, admittedly, this has a lot of nonsense, lines and scenes that wasn't quite delivered well, and reasoning that's far too reaching, I still liked it a lot. Much of the buildup was lost on me because someone spoiled who the killer was before I even get to watch this. The episodes were too long, the script writing was good at times, but ultimately the question of how psychopaths come into being was never truly answered and as always, no matter how righteous someone seems, when it comes to the people who matter to them or the things they love, they just simply loss all reason and prove once again that humans are selfish by nature. Honestly, when the plot was good, it was good, but when it was bad, it got worse. The more things change, the more they stay the same. There is an irrefutable truth is this saying. Killing those fetuses won't really change anything. Everyone is capable to murder and psychopaths do feel emotions). The Bill to kill fetuses with the psychopath gene was passed, but the crime rate did not drop, murders were still being committed after Ba-Reum went to jail (I guess the writers did not want to show this or thought that it was irrelevant, but it is. Typical psychopaths don't just excel at killing, they are brilliant in other things and the character of Ba-Reum was never really shown to its full potential.Ħ. Ba-Reum and Yo-Han should be around the same age so how can Yo-Han be a neurosurgeon while Ba-Reum is a rookie cop when the show starts? The timeline is not believable. I guess it's easier to forgive people for manipulating others and using them to kill then to actually feel sympathy for someone who was used as a lab rat.ĥ. From the time line, it appears that Hong-Ju got around 3 years and 6 months of jail time. Aren't those emotions too? or don't they count when it comes to psychopaths?Ĥ. Always emphasising how psychopaths don't fell emotion, but talking about the enjoyment and excitement they feel when they kill. Still no proper explanation for Chi-Kook's murder.ģ. Everything was blamed on Ba-Reum even though he didn't kill all those people.Ģ. Some of the major faults include the following:ġ. In its place, a special two episode "Mouse: The Predator" will air on April 28th and April 29th, 2021.ħ/10 Honestly, it was too predictable at times for me and the ending was just like that of all kdramas. 16 & 17, which was originally scheduled to air April 28th and April 29th, 2021, will air on May 5th and 6th, 2021.
